what is a pcie slot used for - SSD for M.2 2280 slot in Opti 9020M (micro) - Dell Technologies - Spiceworks Community victory 888 slot

I’m looking for detailed info on the M.2 slot used in the Opti 9020M. As much as there is a ‘standard’ for M.2 it seems the implementation of it per board/drive can vary quite a bit. With the slot being able to be keyed for ‘M’ or ‘B’ and then you have to know if the slot it wired for PCIe or SATA. So - what is the spec for the M.2 slot(Slot2) in the 9020M? Any examples of retail M.2 SSD drives that can fit this slot. I’ve ruled out the Samsung XP941 PCIe drive. Thanks.
